Verified fair trade since 2006
Global Goods Partners is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social impact brand located in New York City that partners directly with artisan social enterprises to design and bring to market fair trade, handcrafted products.
Working with over 30 artisan groups, which collectively employ over 6,000 women in close to 15 countries, since 2006 we have invested over $3.5 million dollars via direct purchase orders into the organizations we partner with.
Since 2006 we have funded nearly
$250,000 in grants
As a social-mission driven nonprofit brand dedicated to advancing the capacity of our artisan partners, all of Global Goods Partners' net income is reinvested in the artisan communities where Global Goods Partners works, which means your purchase is making a real impact on women artisans' ability to earn a secure, reliable fair wage income from their craft.

Fair trade principles
Our producer partners are social enterprises and artisan co-operatives made up of marginalized women that combine the production and sale of handcrafted items with local development programs to improve the economic well-being and quality of life in their communities.
The Fair Trade Federation identifies the following nine principles for fair trade organizations to uphold:
Create Social and Economic Opportunities
Build Capacity and Support Independence
Support Empowering Working Conditions
Promote Fair Trade
Pay Promptly and Fairly
Ensure the Rights of Children
Develop Accountable Relationships
Cultivate Environmental Stewardship
Respect Cultural Identity

Sustainable financing
Since 2006, we have awarded nearly $250,000 in grant funds to our partners to help them build capacity and provide community programs and services.

Builds capacity
These funds have been used for the purchase of new equipment, or to upgrade facilities - and for scholarships, micro-financing loans and community health care improvements.
