Artisans Association of Cambodia (AAC) works with 32 fair trade member organizations to aid over 4,000 Cambodian artisans in improving their socio-economic situations. They have been disadvantaged or disabled by poverty, illness, human trafficking, and landmine accidents. AAC addresses the needs of its artisans, and helps connect them to the international market through networking, business and marketing development, design and craft training, and sales assistance. With this holistic business education, artisans either grow stronger as a group, or gain the necessary skills and knowledge to begin producing and selling their products independently.
